| Holstein is a spar development located in the Green Canyon region of the Gulf of Mexico and is located approximately 150 miles South of New Orleans. The spar is moored in 4,344 feet of water and contains production, drilling, and water injection facilities. Holstein has a hull length of 765ft and diameter of 150ft, making it the World's largest spar facility. |
Project Details:
GATE, LLC presently provides support for the Holstein facilities group with the following remit:
Produced Water Handling System:
- Undertake a design and operability review to determine system fitness for purpose and develop a project execution plan to address any design and operability concerns.
Produced Water Handling System:
- Review known problems and issues with the system and evaluate system operating procedures and construction details.
- Undertake a design and operability review to determine system fitness for purpose and develop a project execution plan to address any design and operability concerns.
Waterflood Handling and Injection System:
- Undertake a critical review of waterflood pre-commissioning and start-up procedures and provide a review of system construction details.
- Undertake a design and operability review to determine system fitness for purpose and develop a project execution plan to address any design and operability concerns.
