• Fitness for Service Testing of Low Alloy Steels for susceptibility to stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen induced cracking.
• Determining the environmental capabilities of a lean duplex stainless steel coiled tubing for downhole oil and gas production completions. The areas examined include:
  • H2S tolerance and resistance to sulfide stress cracking at elevated temperatures.
  • Resistance to CO2/H2S general and localized corrosion at elevated temperatures.
  • Resistance to chloride stress cracking in heavy chloride brine completion fluids.
  • Resistance to stress corrosion cracking under acid flow back environments.
